As the Managing Director of the Allied Health Division at The Execu|Search Group, Dana Thistle is responsible for running one of the largest Allied Health recruiting services in the City of New York and the Tri-State area.

Dana is a seasoned professional with over 8 years of Allied Health recruiting experience. She initially worked as a nation-wide allied health recruiter in Florida before moving to New York and taking on a position as a nurse recruiter at The Execu|Search Group in 2006. After just one year of proven success within the firm, Dana was asked to develop an Allied Health division. While building a division from the ground up was challenging at first, Dana was able to use her industry knowledge and strong interpersonal skills to build one of the largest and most experienced pharmacy recruitment divisions in the region.

In 2008, Dana was recommended by several Directors of Pharmacy to become the first and only recruiter to serve as a corporate member of the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists. Dana attributes her success in the recruiting field to her personal approach and her devotion to the healthcare industry. “Recruiting is not about selling. I’m really passionate about what I do because I really love healthcare and working with people. I listen carefully to people’s needs and use my knowledge of Allied Health to meet those needs.”

Dana earned her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from Lynn University and worked in the fashion industry before beginning her career in recruiting. A resident of Greenwich, Connecticut, Dana enjoys New England summers and spending time with her family.
